If you are curious about the Waverley underpass project the tonight is the night to see what is in store.
An open house on the $155 Million project will be held at the Caboto Centre, 1055 Wilkes Avenue between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm and again at 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm tonight.
during the open house the public will be able to view the detailed design and other information about the project.

Construction on the multi year project is expected to begin as early as January 2017. Crews will begin constructing the four lane detour around the project site just west of Waverley. Train tracks will also be moved in order to keep the CN main line open during construction.
Traffic is expected to start using the detours by fall of 2017 until the project is completed by late 2019.
