The City of Winnipeg is set to begin nuisance mosquito fogging on Friday, July 3, 2020, after a rise in trap-counts.
On Thursday, July 2, 2020, the city-wide mosquito rating has moved from medium to high with trap counts at 44.

Under fogging guidelines a number of criteria must be met before fogging can occur. The Auldiciding Factor Analysis must be high, trap counts must have a minimum of 25 female mosquitoes for two consecutive nights and one or more areas of the city must report at least 100 female adult mosquitoes.
Fogging will start at 9:30 pm and continue until 6:30 am, weather permitting, at the following golf courses, public parks and open spaces:

- Charleswood Dog Park
- Crescent Drive Park
- Fraser Meadow Park
- Harbourview Park
- Harte Trail
- Kildonan Park
- Kildonan Park Golf Course
- Kings Park
- Maple Grove Park
- Marj Edey Park
- St. Vital Cemetery
- St. Vital Park
- Windsor Park Golf Course
