The City of Winnipeg announced on Tuesday evening, October 11, 2022, that a tentative agreement has been reached between them and the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 500 (CUPE).
Details of the agreement have not been released pending ratification by CUPE’s membership. Once approved the settlement will be presented to City Council for its consideration.
The tentative agreement will avoid a potential labour dispute at this time.
