The City of Winnipeg is getting ready for winter. Today they launched an app for your smartphone to help you “Know Your Zone”.
The app uses GPS to help you find the designated snow zone you are in. It will also tell you when snow clearing operations are underway and where through a colour coded map.
Residential Parking Ban notification is also part of the new app. You will be sent messages when a ban in in place for any address on your favourites list, like home or work.
The app is available for free download at the Apple App Store and Google Play App Store.
