The City of Winnipeg has extended the snow route parking ban effective at midnight tonight.
The extended ban means that vehicles cannot park on snow routes between 12:00 am and 7:00 am until further notice while crews work to clear the snow.
Parking on a snow route can cost you a $100 fine and the fees associated with having to retrieve your vehicle from a compound if it is towed.
The extended snow route parking ban will remain in place until snow clearing operations are completed and the ban is lifted.
More snow is on the way on Tuesday December 22, which is expected to extend snow clearing operations for several days.
