A fire in a one-and-a-half-storey Church Street house is under investigation.
Crews were called to the 400 block around 10:00 am on Friday, April 30, 2021. Wen they arrived on the scene smoke and flames could be seen coming from the structure. An offensive attack was launched.
Firefighters used a Flameguard X-Tinguish Fire Suppression Tool to reduce temperatures and make it safer for crews to battle the blaze. The fire was brought under control at 11:22 am.
Everyone inside the home were able to get out prior to emergency crews arriving. No injuries were reported.
The house suffered significant water, smoke and fire damage. Neighbouring homes suffered heat damage.
