Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged a 20-year-old male after an investigation into the distribution of child pornography images that date back to September 2017.
Police were tipped off by an administrator working for a social media company after the suspect allegedly uploaded 160 images of child porn to an online message service and then on two more occasions uploaded images to social media.

Police raided the suspect’s home in Fort Richmond on April 10, 2018, and seized several electronic devices and computers for analysis.
Muhammad Zahid Paracha was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement on April 24, 2018, with Possession of Child Pornography and Imports, Distributes, Sells or Possess for the Purpose of Distribution or Sale any Child Pornography (x3)
He was detained in custody.
