Winnipeg Police are looking for the driver of a van after it hit a four-year-old child on Wednesday night, August 8, 2018, just after 8:00 pm.
Police say the driver of the vehicle stopped briefly after the collision but then fled. The van was located a short distance away from the scene.
The child was taken to hospital in stable condition.
Investigators are looking for the driver of the vehicle and ask anyone with information that can help them to call 204-986-7085 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
