RCMP are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a 5-year-old child on April 28, 2023.
According to police a pickup truck with three males inside was travelling on Provincial Road 272 when it left the roadway, drove through a ditch and collided with a row of trees before rolling over.
The 5-year-old was not restrained properly in the vehicle and was ejected during the collision and pronounced dead at the scene.
The 38-year-old driver and 32-year-old passenger were not injured.
