Winnipeg Police Service’s Child Abuse Unit arrested a 78 yearly man on October 19, 2016 after allegations from four male sexual assault victims.
The victims in the case were aged 10 to 12 when the assaults began in 1981.
According to police the sexual assaults happened in various locations within Winnipeg and occurred for more than a decade.
Former Priest and convicted sex offender Ronald Joseph LÉGER, has been charged with Sexual Assault x 8 for his alleged involvement. He was already in custody serving a two year sentence for sexually assaulting three other teen victims.
