Brandon Police have charged a 33-year-old male and a 37-year-old female with Child Abandonment after two children were left on their own in late February, 2019.
Investigators say that the mother of the children had asked the male to look after her kids while she went out. When the mother returned the man had already left the residence leaving the children alone.
Police have not said how old the children are but did say that both accused were charged related to the same incident.
The male and female were released on a promise to appear in court in April 2019.
