Homicide detectives have arrested and charged a 38-year-old male in connection to the murder of Owen Russel Smith.
On August 4, 2020, Smith had been shot and was located in the 400 block of Selkirk Avenue by police. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but was declared dead shortly after arrival.
Albert Sam Campeau from Winnipeg was arrested on Friday, August 28, 2020. He has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder and detained in custody.
