Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged a 31-year-old female in connection to the March 18, 2019, fatal collision that saw a 4-year-old girl die and her mother injured.
The driver of the vehicle is facing a number of Highway Traffic Act offences including:
- Adult Drive Carelessly Cause Death (HTA 188(2))
- Adult Drive Carelessly Cause Bodily Harm (HTA 188(2))
- Adult Disobey Traffic Control Device (HTA 85) x 2
- Adult As a Novice Driver Operate without Supervising Driver (HTA 26.4)
She was released on a promise to appear in court.
