Nearly nine months after a serious multi-vehicle collision near Lagimodiere Boulevard and East Mint Place, Winnipeg police have laid charges. Harparkash Teje, 29, of Winnipeg, has been charged for his alleged involvement with two counts of Dangerous Operation of a Conveyance Cause Bodily Harm.
The incident occurred on July 5, 2024, at approximately 10:20 a.m. Emergency responders, including the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and STARS Air Ambulance, were dispatched to the scene.
The collision resulted in life-altering injuries to two individuals: an adult male and an adult female. Both were transported to hospital, with the female being airlifted by STARS Air Ambulance in critical condition.
Following an investigation by the Winnipeg Police Service’s Traffic Division’s Collision Investigation Section, Teje was arrested and charged on March 10, 2025. He has been detained in custody.
