Winnipeg Police say that around 6:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2019 a man was stabbed in Central Park. When officers arrived on scene they found an adult male in his 50s with serious upper-body stab wounds. Paramedics took the man to hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Police found two suspects in the area and placed them under arrest.

35-year-old Mary Ann West and an unnamed 25-year-old woman have been charged with Aggravated Assault for their alleged involvement.

West was detained in custody while the other woman was released on a promise to appear in court.
