Investigators from the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service are looking into the cause of an early morning structure fire on Magnus Avenue.
Crews were called to a vacant house around 2:21 am this morning in the 300 block. When they arrived on the scene heavy smoke and flames were coming from the building. A defensive attack was launched and neighbouring homes were protected from exposure. Eventually firefighters were able to transition to an interior attack. The fire was declared under control at 2:55 am.
A search of the building confirmed no one was inside at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported.
