Winnipeg Police say that just before 10:30 am on Saturday, February 3, 2018, a 44-year-old woman was assaulted and thrown to the ground as a male suspect stole her vehicle.
It happened in the 100 block of Selkirk Avenue. The victim was in the process of putting a car seat in her vehicle when the suspect came up from behind her. A search of the area by police did not locate the suspect. The victim was not injured.

Five hours later officers located the stolen vehicle in the 400 block of Flora Avenue. A male and a female were inside the vehicle and were arrested. Police arrested two more males believed to have been involved in a home nearby. Police say that one of the males was in possession of Brass Knuckles and a folding knife.

Gabriel GUIBOCHE, 20 has been charged for his alleged involvement with Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
and two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
Arlan SUMNER, 18 has been charged for his alleged involvement with Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and Identity Fraud – Intent to Avoid Arrest, prosecution or Obstruct Justice
Blaine HARPRER, 20 has been charged for his alleged involvement with Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, Possess Firearm, Restricted Weapon/prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X2, Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized and Fail to Comply with Probation Order X3
Hailey REGENT, 20 has been charged for her alleged involvement with Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
Police detained all four suspects in custody.
