Winnipeg Police have a 19-year-old male in custody after he carjacked a woman in the 200 block of Bannatyne Avenue around 2:45 am on Sunday, December 23, 2018.
Police say that a 23-year old female was sitting in her vehicle when a male ordered her out of the car. The suspect then drove away.
Officers located the vehicle 15 minutes later in the 500 block of Portage Avenue and followed it to a back lane on Langside. The driver took off on foot but was arrested quickly.
Theodoros Kyriakakos from Winnipeg has been charged with Robbery.
