Police need help identifying carjackers and fraudsters

Winnipeg Police are looking for help in identifying a male and a female suspect after they allegedly carjacked a 35-year-old male then drove around the city using his bank cards to make purchases.

Just after 10:00 pm on November 13, 2018, the victim was carjacked by the suspects in the first 100 block of Fort Street. Police located the vehicle in the Minto area.

Police then learned that the victim’s bank cards were used to make purchases at several businesses around the city.

On Tuesday, December 11, 2018, police released surveillance images of a man an a woman who allegedly made the purchases.

Anyone with information about who the suspects are or where they are asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 0r Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
