Winnipeg Police are investigating a carjacking incident at a Corydon Avenue convenience store on Monday May 2, 2022.
According to police, the incident happened at approximately 5:00 pm in the 700 block. As an adult male and two females returned to their parked vehicle a man they did not know approached brandishing a weapon. The suspect demanded the key to the vehicle from the male, assaulted him on the ground, stole the vehicle and fled. The adult male victim suffered minor injuries.
The stolen vehicle is a 2017 white Mercedes c300 4Matic with a red interior. The vehicle has dark rims and a spoiler.
Anyone with information about the vehicle is asked to police at (204) 986-6222.
Police also warn that you should not approach anyone driving the vehicle.
