A woman in her mid thirties had her vehicle stolen from behind her house in the 400 block of Furby Street. It happened Monday night around supper time.
She had left her car running behind her home and when she returned a man was attempting to steal it. She attempted to stop the thief but got dragged a short distance before the vehicle sped off.
The victim’s two dogs were in the car at the time.
Police were able to locate the victims vehicle a few block away. The dogs were returned unharmed. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested a male in his mid-twenties. He faces charges of robbery, assault with Weapon, theft under x 2
