One of the most family-friendly skating rinks opened today.
The Forks canopy skating rink is a crowd pleaser and one of several winter attractions that bring people to the historic gathering place.
If you happen to be skateless rentals are available right next to the rink in the Market Atrium.
“We love seeing people take their first skate of the season under the Forks canopy skating rink,” said Paul Jordan, Chief Executive Officer, The Forks. “Winter is always fun at The Forks, and with our first rink now open and Arctic Glacier Park just around the corner, we continue to be a fantastic winter destination.”
According to the Forks, you can expect a number of on-land skating trails to open in the next few weeks as well as more pieces will be added to the Arctic Glacier Winter Park including a toboggan run and lighting displays.
The river trails are not open yet but are expected to in the next few weeks if the weather cooperates.
