May long weekend traditionally is the start of camping season in Manitoba and as in past years all provincial campgrounds are open.

This weekend is liquor free in all campgrounds, group-use areas and yurts, as well as cabins at Camp Morton and Hecla/Grindstone provincial parks.

The province reminds campers that fires should only be made in approved fire pits.
