Six shots fired into cab
A Unicity Cab driver was hit in the shoulder Sunday morning after a gunman opened fire and shot at least six rounds into his cab.
It happened around 6:00 am at the intersection of Gateway Road and Munroe Avenue after the taxi stopped for a red light. Another vehicle cornered the cab said the president of Unicity Taxi and a person got out and fired at the cab.
According to Unicity the taxi had three passengers in the vehicle at the time of the shooting but only the driver was shot.
Police had the intersection closed for several hours as they investigated the incident.
