Even though a byelection has yet to be called for the provincial riding of St. Boniface Elections Manitoba has begun preparations.
Beginning today, May 4, 2018, and running until May 14, 2018, enumerators will be hitting the streets in what they call a targeted registration.
Officials will visit homes where voters may have recently moved, new homes and apartments.
Elections Manitoba says that once the byelection is called eligible voters will be sent an information card that will indicate the location a date they can vote.
The St. Boniface riding was represented by former Premier Greg Selinger since 1999. He resigned his seat earlier this year.
