A 56-year-old man is in custody after he allegedly assaulted two women at a city bus shelter.
Police say that around 7:20 pm officers responded to an assault in progress at Graham Avenue and Fort Street.
The suspect had attacked the victims but neither required medical attention. A pair of Winnipeg Transit supervisors intervened and were also assaulted and threatened by the suspect.
Charged with four counts of Assault, Utter Threats and Possess Weapon for Dangerous Purpose Glen Roger Asselin was detained in custody.
