Emergency crews responded to a fire in River Heights on Monday evening, October 4, 2021.
When firefighters arrived on scene in the 400 block of Brock Street they found smoke coming from a detached garage and flames extending to a nearby house. An offensive attack was launched and the fire was declared under control within an hour.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
