Beginning at 7:00 am Saturday, May 15, 2021, and continuing until September 30 the section of Broadway between Kennedy Street and Memorial Boulevard will be closed in both directions.
The city noted that there will be no access to westbound Broadway from Kennedy Street or eastbound Broadway from Memorial Boulevard during the closure.
The road closure is to allow repairs to the underground utility passages that run between the Legislature and the powerhouse building.
Pedestrian access will be maintained on one side of Broadway throughout the closure.
