Police in Winnipeg are looking for a male who chased after two people with a gun on Broadway near Langside Street early Tuesday morning, June 14, 2022.

The two victims in their 20s were heading eastbound on Broadway when a male they did not know crossed the street and began talking to them. At one point the male lifted up his shirt and revealed a gun in his waistband.

Seeing the gun, the victims took off running with the suspect chasing them at gunpoint. At one point one of the victims dropped some of their property which was then picked up by the suspect. Once the victims made it to safety they called police.
