Cracks in the westbound lanes of the south Perimeter Highway bridge crossing the Red River have been assessed by Manitoba Infrastructure crews after they were first noticed in mid-November.
The province says that beginning this Sunday, December 16, 2018, until January 4, 2019, both westbound lanes will be closed to make repairs to the deck.
Traffic will be detoured onto one of the eastbound lanes of the bridge. On December, 21 and 22 pilot vehicles will be used to slow traffic as repair crews pour concrete.
