Winnipeg Police have arrested a 32-year-old Stony Mountain man after he was allegedly involved in a break-in of a storage shed in the first 100 block of Lowson Cr.
Police say that on October 27, 2017, the storage unit had a large amount of new Vaughn Goalie equipment stolen.
Investigators from the Major Crimes unit learned that a number of pieces of hockey equipment were being sold online locally.

Around 9:00 pm October 31, 2017, the suspect tried to sell several pieces of the stolen equipment in the area of Leila Avenue and Mcphillips Street. He was nabbed by investigators.
On November 1, 2017, police searched the suspect’s residence and recovered a number of pieces of goalie equipment, FXR attire, tires and Canadian Stamp and Coin sets.
Christopher John Law, 32 from Stony Mountain, Manitoba has been charged for his alleged involvement with Possession of Scheduled Substance-Methamphetamine, Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000, Break, Enter and Theft, Possession of Break-In Instruments, Drive While Disqualified, Drive Without Motor Vehicle Liability Insurance.
Police continue to investigate.
