Brandon Police has arrested three people in connection with a drug investigation.
On Thursday, February 15, 2018, officers from the Crime Support Unit stopped a vehicle in the 200 block of 10th Street.
A 24-year-old female, a 31-year-old male and a 38-year-old male all from Brandon were inside the vehicle and taken into custody. During a search of the suspects, police found large sums of cash and 14 grams of cocaine.
Officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 200 block of 12th Street and seized about 70 grams of cocaine, 50 grams of marihuana and drug paraphernalia.
The female is facing a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine.
The 31-year-old male who police say lives at the home they raided on 12th Street has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Marihuana as well as Possession of Proceeds of Crime and several Breaches of Court Orders.
The 38-year-old male was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.
The 31-year-old was detained in custody and the other two were released on promises to appear in court in April.
Police say that the seizure of drugs was worth about $8,900 on the street.
