3 men and 2 woman facing charges
Five people are facing a number of drug and weapons related charges after Brandon police executed a search warrant and traffic stop.
It happened in the wheat city on Tuesday May 9, 2017. Police, as part of an ongoing investigation, executed a search warrant on a home in the 200 block of Rosser Avenue East. They also stopped several vehicles related to the investigation.
Brandon officers seized a sawed off semi-auto shotgun, loaded, an ammo belt with 14 12gauge shells, a .22 calibre hand gun with a banana style clip with 2 rounds, two cans of bear spray, 16 .32 calibre rifle cartridges and 80 grams of Marihuana.
Police have arrested three males and two females in relation to their investigation.
A 27 year old man and both females ( 19 and 16 ) are from Brandon, A 26 year old man is from Griswold and a 24 year old man from Winnipeg was also arrested.
Brandon Police continue to investigate.
