Brandon Police lay charges after man shot multiple times with a pellet gun

Brandon Police Service have arrested and charged a 39-year-old woman after she allegedly shot her boyfriend multiple times with a pellet gun on Thursday, July 23, 2020.

Police say that they had gone to a residence in the Wheat City for a report of a disturbance when they found a male suffering a pellet wound to his upper arm. The male was taken to hospital and treated for multiple pellet wounds to his legs and arms.

When questioned by officers he disclosed to them that he had been shot by his girlfriend.

On July 24, 2020 the girl friend was taken into custody and charged for her alleged involvement with Assault with a Weapon.

She was released on a promise to appear in court in September.
