Brandon Police responded to a business break-in Saturday morning that literally had officers following the money!
It happened around 6:30 am September 23, 2017, officers arriving on scene in the 200 block of Rosser Avenue found the front glass door of the business had been smashed in. A cash register had been stolen.
Police literally followed the money as a trail of change was left behind as the thieves made off with the cash register. BPS members located the cash box nearby.
The K9 unit took over the trail and was tracking the suspect but they were unable to locate them.
