Brandon Police Service officers have arrested a 27 year old female after she attempted to sell a stolen item on-line.
It happened on Tuesday March 14, 2017. Police received a call from a business stating that they saw an ad on the internet for a pair of sunglasses which had been stolen from them. The photo in the ad still had the business price tag on them.
An officer posed as a buyer and contacted the seller on-line and agreed to meet. Police arrested the suspect and recovered the $150 + pair of sunglasses.
The suspect got a free photo of herself, theft charges and a date with a judge when she attends Court in May.
