Brandon Police have arrested three people involved in trafficking methamphetamine and seized about 136 grams of the illegal drug.
Police say that an ongoing investigation led them to arrest two suspects in a vehicle outside a 17th Street North business. A search of the vehicle netted police 131 grams of meth and other drug paraphernalia.
Police also arrested a female at a home in the 1400 block of Pacific Avenue in relation to the investigation and found 5 grams of meth, a taser and $1400 in cash.
A 32-year-old male and a 32-year-old female, both from Brandon remain in custody and have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.
A 36-year-old female from Winnipeg, who was the passenger in the vehicle, was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine. She was released on a promise to appear.
The street value of the seized drugs is about $27,000.00.
