Brandon massage therapist facing more sexual assault charges

Brandon Police have laid additional sexual assault charges against a Brandon massage therapist.

In November 2019 Brandon Police charged the 54-year-old Michael Petrowski with two counts of sexual assault.

At the time police said a woman came to police after the accused made inappropriate sexual comments while touching her in a sexual manner during a massage on October 30, 2019.

While officers were investigating the incident another woman came forward with a similar complaint that dated back to the fall of 2018.

Six more women came forward in December of 2019 alleging similar assaults between February and August 2019.

In January police reported that five more women had come forward with reports of similar offences between spring and fall 2019. Petrowski was rearrested and charged with five more counts of sexual assault.

Brandon police say that on February 5, 2020, the accused was rearrested and charged with six additional counts of sexual assault. Police say that since January six more women have come forward with complaints.

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in court on February 27, 2020.
