Brandon Police have arrested and charged a 20 year old man for several child pornography offences.
A woman reported to police in October that she had been sent the image of an underage nude girl via the KIK app. She claimed the message was from a man she knew.
BPS investigated and obtained a search warrant to determine the location of the IP address for sending photo. Once they were able to confirm an address they were able to get an additional search warrant to search the residence.
On Tuesday police executed the search warrant on the home an seized several electronic devices.
The suspect has been charged for his alleged involvement with Publication of Intimate Image without Consent, Possess Child Pornography, Personation with Intent and Distribute Child Pornography.
He is scheduled to appear in Brandon court in February.
