Brandon Police were called to a downtown bar after a report was called in about two men fighting with knives. When officers arrived on scene they found one man suffering from several upper body stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.

Police say that the weapon appears to be a steak knife that they recovered at the scene.
The 21-year-old suspect also suffered wounds to his hand and was taken to hospital then transferred to Brandon Correctional Centre.
What started the fight is unknown but an investigation is underway
