Brandon Police responded to the report of a female causing a disturbance just after 9:30 pm Thursday night.
She had attempted to rip down Christmas decorations from a home and was seen running down the street bleeding.
Officers found the female and believed that she was under the influence of drugs. As the police attempted to control her she bit one of the officers in the leg. She continued to fight and was eventually restrained by the officers.
Police took the 14 year old from Boresford, Manitoba to the Brandon Hospital where she was treated for injuries she received in a fight with another female before police arrived.
The police officer who was bitten during the arrest was also treated, then released from hospital.
The female suspect was charged with assaulting a peace officer and breach of probation
