Brandon Police have arrested a 49-year-old male on drug charges after they executed a search warrant on a hotel room on Braecrest Drive.

Police say that just after midnight this morning, December 19, 2018 officers raided the room and found an ounce of Cocaine and an ounce of Meth. The drugs have a street value of about $8,000.

The suspect faces charges for Trafficking, Breach of Recognizance and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

Police also arrested a 27-year-old female who was in breach of recognizance by not complying with her curfew conditions.

Both accused were detained in custody.
