BRANDON | CHARGES LAID IN POLICE PURSUIT

As News4 told you on Wednesday Brandon Police arrested three people after a pursuit that happened throughout the the north end of the city.

 

THEFT | FUGITIVES BRING MAYHEM TO BRANDON

 

Brandon Police have now laid charges against three people following the pursuit.  The driver of the truck, a 26 year old man from Regina is charged with Flight from Police, Dangerous Driving, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Assault with a Weapon, Possession of Propery Obtained by Crime and Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking.

 A 34 year old woman and a 15 year old male youth also from Regina, are charged with Flight from Police, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of Methamphetamine.  All three will appear in court on the charges on Thursday morning. 

Police report that there were no injuries during the pursuit or takedown but the male youth was taken to Brandon Hospital after he complained of chest pains.  He was cleared medially by 4:00 pm. 

Three unmarked police service vehicles sustained damaged during the pursuit.
