Brandon Police have arrested and charged a 52-year-old man allegedly involved in multiple break-ins and thefts from businesses in the Brandon area over the past couple of months.
Police say that security video and forensic evidence left at the break-ins helped identify the suspect in the case.
Between November 7, 2017, and January 8, 2018, four businesses were broken into by smashing the glass doors to gain entry. The thief stole cash from three of the businesses and a laptop computer from the fourth.
The suspect was arrested by investigators and is being held at Brandon Correctional Centre. He is expected to make an appearance later today in Brandon Court.
