Two men in their 20s are facing a number of charges after Brandon Police took them into custody Monday night, August 20, 2018.
Police say that the pair had gone to a home on 14th Street on July 22, 2018, to confront the victim, a 25-year-old male from Sioux Valley First Nation. During the argument the victim was stabbed in the upper chest with a knife.
The victim remains in hospital recovering from the assault.
A 28-year-old male from Brandon has been charged with Attempted Murder, Aggravated Assault, Possess Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Two counts of Utter Threats.
A 24-year-old male from Brandon has been charged with aggravated assault.
Both men are expected to appear in court today
