Brandon Police have two men and a woman in custody after an incident in a residence on Willowdale Crescent on Sunday Night, December 2, 2018.
Just before 6:15 pm police get a call from a woman saying she had been on the phone with her ex-boyfriend when he told her to call the police to his home.
Officers could hear someone yelling for help when they arrived and forced their way in. Once inside they saw the victim being held in a chokehold by one of the suspects while demanding to know where his cash was hidden.
A 31-year old male has been charged with Break and Enter and Commit Robbery with Violence. He was also arrested on an existing warrant for forcible confinement, Mischief Under and two counts of Fail to Appear in Court. He was detained in custody.
A 30-year-old male and a 26-year-old female are facing Break and Enter and commit Robbery with Violence. They were released on a promise to appear in court in January.
All three suspects are from Canupawakpa First Nation.
