One woman is in custody after she was involved in an assault that left the victim suffering from severe head injuries.
Brandon Police say that on September 30, 201, a male and female severely beat the victim to the point they had to be air-lifted in critical condition to Winnipeg to receive treatment for their head trauma injuries.
It happened in an apartment on 9th Street. Police say the suspects followed the victim home and violently assaulted them.

Investigators were able to identify the two suspects and executed a search warrant at a home in the East end of the Wheat City. A 28-year-old woman from Brandon was placed under arrest and has been charged with aggravated assault and robbery with violence. She was held in custody.

Police say that they have not been able to locate the male suspect.
The victim of the assault is recovering in Winnipeg and remains in critical condition.
Brandon Police continue to investigate.
