BRANDON | Argument turns violent as man pulls out gun and fires shot

 

 

Police still looking for male suspect

 

 

 

 

 

Brandon Police are still looking for a man who fired a gun in an apartment in the 600 block of 18th Street Wednesday night, August 23, 2017, around 10:30 pm.

Police were called to the residence after receiving a report of shots fired.

Investigators believe that a man and woman went to the residence and got into an argument with the male tenant. The male suspect pulled out a gun and discharged it inside the apartment. Police say the tenant was able to push the suspects out of his residence and the pair fled.

Officers located a female in the area and took her into custody.

The tenant suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
