Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a blaze in a two-storey Boyd Avenue house at 6:29 pm on Friday, August 27, 2021.
Smoke was coming from the home as firefighters arrived on the scene. A defensive attack was launched but crews were eventually able to transition to an offensive attack as soon as it was safe to enter the structure.
The fire was declared under control at 7:03 pm.
People inside the building were able to get out safely prior to emergency crews arriving on the scene. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
