A 13-year-old boy charged with Second Degree Murder in the killing of a 17-year-old male on September 24, 2018.
Around 4:00 pm emergency crews responded to the report of a male who had been assaulted in the railway underpass at McPhillips and Logan Avenue. The victim was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
During the investigation, police learned that the victim had been stabbed by another male. A suspect was identified and on September 28, 2018, officers found him in the 700 block of Stella Avenue. He was arrested after a short foot pursuit.
the suspect remains in custody.
